As Deepavali draws near, SETSCO’s cafeteria became the site of a mini bazaar, bringing the festive mood to our Hindu colleagues so that they can fully enjoy the festivities without missing a beat at work. Several vendors were present to offer a variety of goodies and foodstuff with exclusive discounts.
One of the bazaar’s highlights was the wide variety of traditional Indian snacks on offer, ranging from murukku to sweet laddoos and savory pakoras. These treats brought a familiar taste of home, allowing our native Indian colleagues to indulge in some festive favourites and stock up for their celebrations. It was also delightful to see our other non-Hindu colleagues took time off work to immerse in the festivities.
Such events reflect SETSCO’s continuous commitment in maintaining an inclusive environment for all employees regardless of race or nationality. By hosting festivities within the office premises, we ensure that even our busiest colleagues can participate and celebrate together without missing out due to work commitments.
