As Singaporeโs process industry evolves, keeping pace with changing workforce requirements is an important part of building a capable and future-ready workforce.
Taking a proactive approach, SETSCO invited Mr Kenneth Lee, Assistant Manager from Association of Process Industry (ASPRI), to conduct a briefing on the Enhanced R1 Framework for process workers on 25 September 2026.
ASPRI represents companies across Singaporeโs process industry and works with industry and government stakeholders to support the sectorโs development and workforce capabilities.
The session provided 21 employees from our Operations team with a deeper understanding of the criteria for process workers to qualify for the lower levy under the Ministry of Manpowerโs framework. More importantly, it equipped our teams with relevant knowledge to support informed workforce and operational planning.
