Groundbreaking ceremony organised by Weima Builders

On 3rd September 2024, CEO of VICOM, Mr. Sim Wing Yew and CEO of SETSCO, Mr. Chung Tying Chun grace the groundbreaking ceremony organised by Weima Builders at the site of our upcoming new testing facility at Jalan Papan.

This event marks a significant milestone for SETSCO as it embarks on a journey to develop the new premises into a hub of technology and sustainability. The new building will be housing SETSCO’s new testing capabilities and is equipped with up to 80 ultrafast DC charging stations for buses, heavy vehicles, and private cars in partnership with Volt, forming the largest EV charging station of its kind in Southeast Asia.

•Some of the eco-friendly features of the building includes,

•Passenger lifts purchased from Green Mark certified companies.

•Providing bicycle lots to encourage environmentally friendly commuting

•Installing rooftop solar panels to reduce reliance on traditional brown energy
