Microbiological Testing
Setsco’s Microbiology Department is able to assist clients in the quality control of food and the environment through the identification of both pathogenic and non-pathogenic bacteria. Other than food, building products such as tiles and paints can also be evaluated by our laboratories for fungus and algae resistance while air can also be checked for airborne micro-organisms.
Setsco is currently approved by NEA to conduct tests on potable water for human consumption which comes into contact with coatings on the inside of water tanks, and assists clients to submit the Heterotrophic Plate Count and Legionella results to NEA for regulatory purposes.
Setsco also offers kitchen hygiene inspection / audit services and sampling services to central kitchens, restaurants and hotels, providing clients with a one-stop service on the assurance of food, water and environmental safety in the food industry.
